Engjaskóli has joined the growing number of schools subscribing to the Læsir app.
Læsir is an intuitive app designed to monitor children's home reading.
The app tracks how often a child reads and the length of each logged session.
Children can then add finished books to their virtual bookshelves.
Homeroom teachers have started distributing access codes to parents, and many families are already recording their children's reading at home.
