Engjaskóli has joined the growing number of schools subscribing to the Læsir app.
Læsir is an intuitive app designed to monitor children's home reading.
Logging reading sessions in the app allows the system to track how often and how long a student reads.
Children can then add finished books to their virtual bookshelves.
Homeroom teachers have started distributing access codes to parents, and many families are already recording their children's reading at home.
