Engjaskóli physical education teachers receive Reykjavík University recognition
Physical education teachers from three primary schools received Reykjavík University recognition for exemplary educational assessment in physical education, including Engjaskóli teachers Bergrós Arna Jóhannesdóttir, Hjördís Klara Hjartardóttir and Kristín Guðmundsdóttir.
The recognition ceremony was held at Reykjavík University on May 28, marking the second time these awards have been presented.
Rimaskóli and Sjálandsskóli were the other schools honored for exemplary educational assessment. In its official statement, the
selection committee noted that Engjaskóli approaches physical education as a unified whole, with physical education and swimming teachers working together as a strong team.
Engjaskóli's physical education teachers incorporate formative assessment and integration into their instruction in a clear and constructive way, whether through structured projects
