Gunnar Helgason and Bjarni Fritzson
What do Gunnar Helgason and Bjarni Fritzson have in common?
They both came to Engjaskóli in November, read from their books and gave students a fantastic time.
Bjarni Fritzson read from his book about Orri the Unstoppable (Orri óstöðvandi) and held a quick-fire quiz with students, promising them a pizza party if they won. He runs the same competition at every school he visits.
He also gave the school two sets of his recent books — 50 copies in total — and we're very grateful for such a generous gift.
Gunnar Helgason visited shortly after and read from his new book, "Birtingur and the Great Phone Ban” (Birtingur og símabannið mikla). The book is about Birtingur going on a phone ban and the adventures that follow.
These were wonderful visits, and we thank both authors warmly for visiting.
