5th grade visited Engjaborg with holiday greetings!
It was a wonderful time on Thursday, Dec. 4, when students in 5th grade from Engjaskóli visited Engjaborg preschool.
Students in 5th grade from Engjaskóli made their way to Engjaborg preschool on Thursday, Dec. 4, carrying plenty of Christmas cards. The visit is part of a long-standing tradition and collaboration between the two schools, where all classes at Engjaskóli send greetings in the form of Christmas cards to children at Engjaborg.
It's always the 5th grade class that reads these greetings, both at the preschool, and the class will also visit all classes at Engjaskóli to do the same.
After reading the greetings, the 5th grade students and the children at Engjaborg sang two Christmas songs together, which delighted everyone present. Afterward, the Engjaskóli students had the chance to visit the different divisions and play with the younger children.
Fun to revisit old memories
This was truly a wonderful time that everyone shared together. Many students in 5th grade got to see their younger siblings who are at Engjaborg, while many others were visiting their old preschool for the first time in years.
The visit strengthens the connection between the schools and is an enjoyable tradition that's wonderful to keep alive.
We warmly thank the staff and children of Engjaborg for the wonderful welcome!
