Teacher visit from France and Finland

Teacher visit

On Tuesday, April 8, we welcomed a delightful teacher delegation from France and Finland.

Two 7th grade students, Ægir and Dagur, took on the responsibility of guiding the visitors through the school and performed excellently in this role.
The visitors toured most grade levels and learned about the diverse educational activities at Engjaskóli.
The highlight was an excellent outdoor learning session with 2nd grade students, guided by Jóhanna Höskuldsdóttir and all the creative and practical classes teachers.
Students and visitors participated in a scavenger hunt around the school grounds and enjoyed gathering around the fire pit where they roasted marshmallows.
The weather was perfect, and the visitors remarked that summer had clearly arrived in Iceland.
The visitors were exceptionally impressed with the school's programs, giving them top marks and expressing appreciation for the polite and hardworking students while describing the school as vibrant and beautiful.
They were particularly impressed by how well students had decorated the school with their artwork, which now adorns the entire building.
